Professor Li’s research mainly focuses on fertility preservation and reproductive medicine research. She leads more than 12 national and provincial research funds, totally for 13 million yuan, including National Key Research and Development Program and National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published more than 60 academic papers in domestic and international renowned journals including Nature Communication, iScience and Cell Death and Disease. She is the chief editor of 3 monographs and the co-editor of 8 monographs, and is presided over 3 expert consensus papers in the field of reproduction such as “Chinese Expert Consensus on Clinical Practice of Female Fertility Preservation”. Professor Li won the first prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award, the prizes of Military Medical Achievements and Military/Shanghai Scientific & Technological Progress Award, and won two national invention patents. She led the team to complete the world first live birth of MALBAC-PGD technology to block polycystic kidney disease in 2016 and the first live birth in China with healthy ovarian tissue cryopreservation in 2019.
